Have you ever heard a sentence that resonated deeply with you, only to forget to live by it the next day?
The same thing can happen with our personal and professional growth. One day, we feel on top of the world, handling challenges with confidence, and the next, we face a similar situation but doubt our abilities. It can feel like we’ve lost the skills that once helped us succeed.
To keep what we’ve learned and build trust in ourselves, here are a few simple tips:
- Celebrate your wins. Big or small. Make them remarkable.
- Set a future reminder. Add a note in your calendar a year ahead: “On this day, I overcame this challenge by…”
- Save proof of your progress. Take a screenshot and keep it in a special album on your phone—you’ll stumble upon it one day as a reminder of how far you’ve come.
- Track professional growth. Update your resume and LinkedIn regularly, even if you’re not job hunting. You never know when you’ll need a reminder of everything you’ve accomplished.
Growth isn’t about never facing challenges or fear again, but approaching them with the skills and knowledge we already have. Keep these reminders close, and trust in your journey!
